Blisters

I suffer with blisters, can anyone help. I have tried anti-blister socks, still get blisters, I've had my shoes checked and they are okay. I get the blisters on the ball of my foot by the toes and on the outside of my foot. By the end of a run I can have up to five blisters. I did the Disney half marathon in January and by 10 miles could hardly walk. I am doing the GNR so would like to come up with something to help before then. Can anyone help?

    You could try Thorlo's which are a thick sock and will give your feet a snugger fit which should stop them moving around in the shoe so much. They work on the principal that the towelling inner moves with the foot so reducing friction. Plenty of talc on the feet and vaseline on the blister prone areas will also help.
