Please would somebody help in my ordeal to try and run without injury...
i`ve been running for about two years, only small distance`s up to about 4 miles, then i started to get a pain down the outside of my right knee! some say IT syndrome, after checks and measurements found that i was wearing the wrong type of shoe!asics 1110.. so this time i bought a cushioning shoe/naterual shoe. asics gel balance....great first few times out no problems, then when on a run about 3 miles in my left calf pops, rested for a week, ice, anti-inflammatory`s compression.....then next time out my right calf pops,i stopped as soon as i felt it go and limped back home, rested again for a week, then tried a small training run 1.5 miles nice and steady about a mile in it really tightened up again only to limp back home......
i warm up correctly, i don`t push to hard, i only want to keep fit, 4-5 miles 10 minute mile pace is my goal can anybody help please.....i`m 39 weigh 12st and very active.
I could do with getting a decent pair of trainers and i can get to London or anywhere in Herts on Saturday but don't know where to go to get someone who can help rather than a Saturday kid who doesn't know anything about the trainers they sell - any ideas? premium wordpress themes
I would say don't under any circumstances change to new shoes the day before a race. Sounds like a recipe for pain anguish and a DNF!! Stick with what you've trained in and then change. Best of Luck for Sunday. Paul. premium wordpress themes
I said to one of the members of staff that I wanted to buy some running shoes but I didn't know what sort to get. I didn't whether I was an overpronator (feet roll inwards) or supinator (feet roll outwards) or neutral (all of which require different shoe types). http://www.prowordpress.net/
Thank you for another essential article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a complete way of writing? I have a presentation incoming week, and I am on the lookout for such information. Justin Bieber Lyrics.
This is a great article with very sound advice for choosing the best runners shoe. I especially like the "Wet Test," to determine foot type. I can now pick out the best runners shoe based upon my feet. Keep posting great information like this. Very helpful. Also, please check this out, if you are lookinig for athletic shoes, running shoes, or just walking shoes. Thanks again
Hi, i recently started running and have considered taking it more seriously. I need to find two new pairs of shoes (price dosn't matter) that are good for long distances, one for roads and the other for cross country (fields). I've got narrow feet with a high arch and am currently using puma's (don't know the make), Does anyone have any suggestions??? or feedback on shoes similar to the ones i'm looking for???
It’s worth spending the money on something decent in the first place and sticking with them through it all, that’s the recipe my friend sticks too and he runs all the time.
In Vibram FiveFingers, your feet can move naturally and flex easily. Five individual toe slots let your toes separate gently, stabilizing your body and providing unrivaled balance and increased muscle stimulation to feet, ankles and lower legs. And it enhances feedback and lowers your center of gravity to improve balance and agility Nike Air Max is the shoe which just designed for TN Requin Nike basketball game. Indeed after Nike Air, unique designed Nike SB shoes can applicate to all kinds of difficult movements without, example of style, rugged design, and excellent Chaussure Nike TNtraction with the same sporty feel as.
I have a normal feet and so far I feel well running with neutral shoes such Asics Gel-Nimbus and Gel-Kayano. I know that it was proven that the cushioning is not so important for running. Actually Harvard Uni proof that there is no gain when running with such shoes. Anyway, I love the stability and the general comfort with these shoes so recommend them to everyone with neutral feet.
