First time out for me and my son...it was exactly as advertised - mad but great fun and a very friendly atmosphere.
Well organised except that we didn't see any distance markers out around the course - so it was a bit difficult to judge pace (even after the Big Dipper start).
Will definitely be back next year. Can you organise the same weather?
Well done to you all today, marshalls everywhere, so no chance of taking a wrong turning (or a short-cut), a nice plod for me with great company, weather was a bonus too. The stream was a bit cold, any chance of warming it up for 2010
Phil.once again a brilliant race..........I managed to do more than a shuffle but my legs felt tired going around the golf course hill and down.just didin't repond too well. they must still have been tired after last weeks race........still only 1 min off my best pudding run so realy pleased.
Thanks for a great race, and well done on only one bandit in the bushes this year Phil. I would hire you to beat grouse for me any day on that performance
they are really good........I'm on one of the group ones and Its a really good action piccie...........must be the black and white film making me look thinner than normal.........

Another great day at the dipper! Nearly lost a lung on the up.

Thanks to all for a fabulous race. Did someone forget to warm the stream though, it was rather chilly in there.

I concur with the view that "Humph runs like a girl."
He does.
I saw that sign and it made me laugh........I wish I ran like a girl
my legs were a little tight this morning
He's trying to say it was his brother on a thread on popular Welsh rugby board - after I tipped him off about the sign - but now I'm not so sure!
They are on the Brackla Harriers site: http://www.bracklaharriers.co.uk/cms/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/MerthyrMawrPudding20091.pdf
