what a lot of activity on here.just incase you thought I was keeping quiet because I won..........I thought i would post.......I have been a good girl and been training......I went for a long run over the mountain...........but it was foggy and I got lost and ended up going a lot further than I wanted.......

but bathed and fed now and waiting by my phone

I just got excited because there was an email from runners world in my inbox, but it was only advertising the London Running Show.  As if I would travel all the way from Scotland just to get to that!

Dundee, got the same email, had me going as well. 

People keep phoning me about unimportant things, work,  desperately don't want to put the phone down on the CEO when my mobile goes, again looks like I could be "blaming" the IT dept for some failures!

I'm doing a spring marathon definitely..........If I don't win this chance then I will do llanelli the week earlier..........but for some reason I would love to do this on my birthday.....be such a celebration

I didnt think they were ringing today, thought it closed today but calls where going to be made on friday????

The wording was such that entries would close midday today and notification would be no later than Friday, so I would guess anytime between now and Friday

John - more work, is that code for more training, entry to VLM?  Never heard anyone in the current market complain about getting more work.  I think you are trying to tell us something

Dundee, love the work of course, but what if the mobile goes and I find myself in that quandary, be rude and hang up, or miss the call! 

And what if they call my work number and I'm on the phone.  I work in a place where we have competition winners, you know randomly selected!  I know what can happen!

What if I put my home number on the application and they've already rung and discarded me!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the calls go out on Friday, or late tomorrow at the earliest.  I guess it depends a bit on how many entries they've got, and how they are processing them, but from their point of view there's no reason for not using the time they've given themselves.
