Today I completed my leg of the relay and I would just like to thank everyone who gave their time and effort to get Barry to me. Whether you ran, organised, helped or supported, thank you.

Probably wasting precious breath again but here goes
What are we going to do with Barry for next years "easy year"?
The idea of "booking Barry" has not exactly stimulated any great interest or even light preparation.
A suggestion was made to me which seemed really really good and linked to a cause close to my heart. I cannot say much yet publically but will mention the idea in private to anyone who wants to know. It will not mean too much work neither.
In keeping with coasters belonging to all of us, Barry's future needs to be discussed and any plans appropriately shared. Maybe some want to be "in control" and be "the boss" or whatever. Fine but it won't be coasters would it? I certainly won't have anything to do with it.
Only apathy will give the event to me and make me sole decision maker. I will resist that with every breath.

It has been agreed that we can take Barry to the top of The Tower . Fella will be there at 2:30 , so let's time finish nicely for then. This is provided that wind is not more than 40mph
