I willbe out for an early hours run with the dogs whilst all the family is in bed, back, showered and canged and satrting cooking just as they are all getting up, also usually have a walk in the woods with the kids after dinner
Christmas day is a day for family, so with 2 young boys it's always a pleasure to be around them. Boxing day will be my run off th day befores' calories & beer!
My long one (11) is planned for Boxing Day. Just doing three or four miles on Christmas Day. My family reckons they can do without me for 20 minutes or so...
On New Years day they hold it an hour later so that people can do Bushy Park parkrun first then get over to Banstead. I'm toying with the idea of turning it into a mini duathlon by riding between the two. Might have to go some though.
I will do 3 or 4 with the dog before starting to do the dinner. Means I can go home to a nice refreshing bucks fizz and croissants knowing I have burned them off already
I believe I have permission to cycle to the Brother-in-law's for lunch, which is about 25 miles each way! (Only because there's not room for us all in the car, but can't complain!)
What time is the XMas Day Banstead Parkrun? What's the form? Not been to one before but have signed up etc. What time would I reasonably be away by (allowing for social activities after etc?)
(Note to self, feel free to go along and support Nacker Cracker but do not pack trainers!)
Why is park run on xmas day? it should be on the Saturday anyway.
Got my kids this year so nothing for me on Christmas day unless I can sneak up the shed for a bit of gymwork while they are watching TV, but I will be doing something on Boxing day and then of course there is the trendy kids get together on the Monday
oh what was that I just saw scampering through? Awful fast whatever it was!
Heavens yes I shall be training. Christmas is all about doing your favourite things so I shall be doing mine before cooking a huge roast and enjoying it knowing I've worked for it!

9am. Allowing for their announcements before the start, time to run and some social chitchat afterwards, you could certainly be home by 10.
assuming the ice has gone, I was planning couple of hrs MTBing in Epping Forrest. I was planning on dragging the missus out as well..... Should be fun but will be very very muddy.
With 71 days to go IMNZ A day off work is a training day as far as I am concerned. But it's too icy around here to get out and do anything sensible - so will be a 2 hour turbo session for me.
I have a 3 mile slow run tomorrow and then a 4 mile race on Boxing Day, which I've been building to since I've come back from injury about 4 weeks ago.

I always run on christmas day, normally before the rest of the lazy folk get up
