I noticed the race had appeared yesterday and was racking my brains trying to remember if this one had online entry. Last year I recommended this race to a number of people on the grounds that it was really scenic - hopefully I won't look such an idiot this year.
Yes entries opened at the begin of Feb last year My hubby did it for the first time and no views, but he has seen the views from taking photos and support and also riding it on his mountain bike.
Stupid thing keeps telling me it's subscriber only event even though my subscriber number's in the right box and I keep updating it. Maybe a postal entry for me this year
be interesting to see how the organisation goes this year as both Huw and Nicola (race director and secretary respectively) have retired so others will be managing it now. but if it's handed over well it should go smoothly
Just got a text from Hippo with the good news. Been out on a horrible 14 mile run, my legs are killing me now. So I will enter us both after shower and lunch.
Mmmm I'd like to go for a marathon PB in the autumn and I don't think this is the course to do it, so I may just marshall again *puts order in for better weather this year please!*
Missed last year as I opted for Snowdonia. As they fall on different weekends this year, have now entered both. Beachy Head remains my favourite marathon. See you all there.
Do you realise there's time to have a baby before Beachy?
Is there enough time to do some training? Hope not!
Fat Buddha, hope you're right about a good handover. The wording's changed (a little bit) on the online entry form, and I hope this doesn't indicate a desire to change things for the sake of change.
Beachy is great - and it ain't broke, so don't fix it, new organisers!

This was my first marathon last year, and I'll be back for more.
Probably being stupid, but cant see anywhere to download the entry forms off the Eastbourne website. Are you just writing off with a sta?
Could enter online here, but with 2 of us that's giving money away that could be spent on jaffa cakes!

I'm in too, entered tonight.
First time for this one, but heard great things about it

I did say that I may do the Greensand this year but I will probably end up doing Beachy again instead.
