Thought you lot might like to see this. Waaaay beyond any of my ambitions (a half marathon looks like an ultra to me these days), but fair play to anyone who even considers this.
Hi Mrs Mac. I'm great, thanks. Not doing much (any) running at the moment - small child and busy at work getting in the way, but planning a comeback soon. In fact I may try to get out at lunchtime today.
Fantastic! A whole day off the previous record - that's impressive!
Wee one is fab, Mrs Mac. Walking and talking coming on a treat, and she has the lovliest personality. Are you coming up for Loch Ness this year? I could introduce you.
If you are looking for a new challenge, something completely different? Surviving Crazy 880 races in 80 countries which range from short sprints, charity sports days and all the way up to half marathons and full marathons.
I am looking for a runner to help me to complete the challenge ahead of me. If you are intrested or you know anyone who maybe intrested, please check out the website www.andywray.com and I can be contacted via there or here? My runner is ill and wont be able to go on the trip and as a lot of the trip has been planned and we have sponsorship, charity connections, a book deal and a documentry it would be a shame to waste all of this it is the chance of a lifetime.
