Fast Forward Running Hurstbourne 5

just the 2 hills..... Just a bit of mudimage

will be a nice way to to enjoy a Saturday morning.....image

Nice race on its 2nd outing,

  • Prizes for King and Queen of the hill this year too. Better get your crampons on!

  • Hmmm, I'm wondering if I'd make it round this course as I haven't done any offroading for quite a while.  Distance should be OK ...

I love a bit of mud image

    Should I or shouldn't I?  Decisions decisions!

  • Go for it! just keep thinking about the home made cakes at the end!
  • It may take me an hour and a quarter plus to finish though!

Hmmmmm, home made cakes image image

  • you know it makes sense!
  • Just got round to entering online image

    Can't wait image image

Mudclaws, Flyrocs, Brooks Adrenaline trail shoes or ???

  • The home made cakes tipped the balance, eh?

The course has dried out a lot over the past week, so I would say studs or trail shoes will both be fine

  • Here's hoping my flyrocs are up to the job tomorrow! image

My 13yr old is looking forward to the fun run image

I'm looking forward to this race - not just the homemade cakes or bacon butties image

It's gonna be tough and I'm gonna hurt but I'll feel good after and it will be worth it! image

Fab organisation, great bacon butties, delicious home made cakes and wonderful scenery.

Tough, hilly and loved the placing of the 4 mile marker image

Can't wait to attack this one again next year! image
