Right - Did the "Odlum's Raisin/sultana and cinammon" one overnight - I wasn't sure of the timing as it didn't specify a weight, so I may have slightly overcooked it - I did it on the 750g setting when it was probably closer to 500g.
Good taste, not a bad texture although a tad crumpety (may have been the overcooking) but overall very nice. I'd try it again on a lower weight setting/in the oven.
Available in Safeways (and probably elsewhere too)

It's a smaller loaf than usual in spite of the fact it was an "add these to a normal recipe". Whether that was because the herbs etc affected it, whether it was me fiddling about during the kneading process trying to get the herbs to mix in, or whether it was because I opened the lid during baking to put some grated cheese on top I'll never know without further experiment.
Anyhow - it smelt fantastic during baking and tastes great too :-) Definitely worth a go. Allinson's and bought at Safeway's if anyone wants to try it, I expect the other big supermarkets have it.
Oh I've done that one before - I ended up with igneous rock!! I now have a sticker on the lid saying "put the stirrer on"!! I forgot once and had to fumble around in all the flour and gunk trying to fit it onto the spindle and ended up with dough all over my fingers!
The bread was actually very nice - just slightly denser than normal. I ate a hearty brekkie of it. Hot toast with butter. Might be ok with marmite but obviously not with jams and stuff!
Well i've opted for a 4 hour malt loaf. Didn't read the recipe properly so i've already piut the sultanas in oh well i suppose they will just be chopped up. Any tips for getting the malt in without needing 3 spoons and a bath afterwards? very sticky.
Mmpf&f asked fo this recipe on Domestic Drudgery so i copy pasted it here too recipe for malt loaf Actually called malted loaf mine will be ready in about 2 hours

Where did you get it?
I have a sultana and cinammon one and a cheese and herb one. The cinammon one is going in overnight for hopefully a scrummy brekkie loaf

I was a bit worried - a lot of the herbs went straight to the edge and not into the doughball bit - any ideas?
