I took a mornng off ahead of a heavy weekend and then blogged

  • Morning again

Watched some of the  Tour of Turkey highlights on eurosport whilst packing Miss B's free papers for her delivery round later.

  • Think that's the rain finally gone off !

It's about 10 degrees colder than Tuesday here !image

  • In for a quick nosey.

  • Evening all - run and spin, the pool was full of a cross challenge class so no swim, that will be my SOC. Leg improves, stride still very short so consequently pretty slow. No run tomorrow then marathon participation assessment on Sat, but I can't miss it as it is my favourite of all and the one that got me into this running lark. Plus I have to earn my mother's roast lunch.

I did 92hrs of training last month :??0

    Easy spin tomorrow
  • Morning you lot

    Just of out, seems dryimage

    Back later

  • Morning all - swim postponed until tonight when I find my water mojo, back to some decent SOC training next week when I'm not on the early train every day. Nice weather promised over the weekend birky. Gobi, imagine if it was a 31 day month...

gobi - enjoy the race, good luck

lack of sleep meant not getting up early enough to get out on the road bike before a day out MTBing with OH. Just as well maybe, the doubling up might have finished me off!! Anyway, I can always have a gentle spin on the road bike this evening, or swimming

  • Good morning all image

21 miles this morning , Chilly but bright and sunny.

Nw 2 Herons,1 swan, 1 moorhen 15 ducks including a mother escorting her 5 ducklings to the canal edge. Dw 1 Roe deer  OR They all seemed to come out the wood work this morning 8

Been busy last few days catch up later.

  • afternoon all - North Dorset Villages done, bit of a hobble so pretty happy with 4.12, was predicting anything up to 5 hours. My favourite race out there, reminded me why I got obsessed with this running lark in the first place, nice early start at 8.30 too. Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday folks, long bike ride home for me tomorrow, in the vicinity of train stations just in case.

  • PSCPSC ✭✭✭
That's not a hobble, that's a decent run. Good luck Gobi. Well trained Valis and Maths. Longest ride of the year for me. 80 miles supporting pilgrims hospice. Cracking day.
  • Morning all - preparing for today's ride, am planning my route from an old road atlas so I anticipate a few extra miles being lost. Were you sensible enough to put on sun cream yesterday PSC, I'm a little red faced today, at the start it felt more important to be worrying about whether to wear gloves or not.

  • PSCPSC ✭✭✭
Oddly I was fully covered as I was cold. So running tights over bike shorts and long sleeved cycling top kept me unblemished by the sun. Have a great ride today.

Anyone going to the grand designs show. If so, see you there.

PSC - have fun, though I have to say I hate those kind of places, too crowded for me!

Having some breakfast in the peace and quiet, then a little bike ride before getting the kids back

  • Mornng

Had a wee lie in for a change todayimageimage

    Catch up time

  • Some good training going on.
