turbo this morning and run this evening
we were forecast snow for this morning, but there wasn't any, thank goodness I hate the cold slippy stuff!
Evening all - track done, 10 miles total 4 x 5 min efforts. PSC, have you got a note for being off games?
Achilles was a bit sore so decided not to run today - just did yoga. After two hard days I figure I needed a light day.
Cold and a bit frosty here
Snow is away.
NW: 1 owl, 1 cat, 2 dogs
PW: 1 car
1 adidas white (well it was originally) trainer !
Apologies - I've been doing SOC as well as being quite ill with the flu Luckily i'm all better now!
How is everyone doing?
Get well soon's to emmy and gobi.
Emmy - hope you are ok
gobi - good to hear you are on the mend
mild here today, 5 miles under starry skies, but it was starting to get a hint of light in the east as I finished
6 miles on the road and 3K in the pool at SOC, recover well, flu seems to be everywhere.
Morning you lot
Off out, then to work, a 7.30am start.
nothing for me this morning but swimming tonight
Off out with Geordie now
Morning all - 4am start so I could get on the turbo, run coaching and swim later, sunshine! Gobi, you are an excited SOCer.
kate: Wow that is an early start today for you.
Gobi: Sounds a good session then today for you.
Gobi - well done on the run! That's great to hear that you're back!
Kate - that is an early start!
Birky - how are you doing?
Another SOC for me but really loved running this morning. Was even slightly warm!
Wet and windy. 'Dreich' here today, that's a good Scottish word for it
Off out now
yesterday was swim, spin and kettlebells
today is haircut then swim - probably should have done it the other way round!
for those that remember Gemma she set a record for 50k on a treadmill last night! she did it in 3:55:28
Well done Gemma
Evening all - 7 mile run and 50 mile bike as it was summer out there today. Great work by Gemma yesterday, nearly 4 hours on a treadmill must be hell.
sore throat headache and sinus pain - going back to bed!
Oh dear, hope you get over it soon.
I've not run at all since last Sunday's 11 miler (it takes me quite a while to recover from long runs, it seems) but I was out just after 7 today and completed 13.18 miles. Got pretty painful towards the end - even my butt was aching - but it was such a lovely day I could just about ignore it. Sun, daffodils and blossoms starting to come (oh and this being London, various pools of Saturday night vomit and a dead rat.)
Actually came in 1 minute faster than my 2011 half marathon (my only half to date) so I am pretty happy with that. I'm doing that one again in May - perhaps I can shave some time off.
Oh and well done Gemma - that sounds like an extreme feat of mental fortitude.
Afternoon all - 12 miles run and 3K swum. NW 30+ sheep, 2 horses and a squirrel, only 3 OR as the local half marathon was happening today to lure them all away. MC, hope you're feeling better. Cal, lots of Springness here too, dead badgers and squirrels on the road yesterday, so squashed wildlife wherever you go. Yoga next, then some medicianal red wine.
Just off out
Back later to do the usual 'catch up'.
Morning all - turbo for me, run and swim at NOC. PSC, nothing for 3 weeks ant then a half? I can't blame your legs for falling out with you.
