"Not exactly a PB course"
Lol ! You should live in Wales ! Of course its a PB course
It would be a bit of a long commute
yeah i have heard its a hilly one but i guess that even if i half walk half jog the bigger of the hills i can at least take a few mins of my time
has anyone got their numbers im a bit worried my application hasnt gone through as they said july for the numbers
I am doing this one too, I live in Norfolk now but used to live in Ipswich so I'm looking forwards to running there.
Muppley wrote (see) No not yet, was going to e-mail them if I hadn't receved anything in the next 10 days or so. If you go to the Ipswich Jaffa's homepage you can check the entry list to make sure you are in.Numbers are now being mailed out ,so if you have already entered you should get yours soon. As has already been said you can check you are on the entry list by going to Jaff'as homepage and clicking on their events tab and then on the half marathon tab.
Good luck with your training.
Just got home after being away and my race number has arrived, hope your did too.
I have the Great Yarmouth Half to do this weekend and Ipswich on the 29th. It's the first time I've done two so close together so wish me luck!

Hello all
I am running this, first half marathon, and first competivie run. So it'll be a PB no matter what time I run it it
I know the first half quite well as I use some of the roads as a normal route. Planning to run the second half this weekend so I know whats in store.
got my number 537 i will be at the back in my runners black and white vest!!
training going ok only upto 9miles solid hoping to add that extra mile this weekend to make it 10 and then go all out the last weekend to make it the full 14miles trained
havent trained the hills part of it yet tho walking the hills at mo still trying to make sure i run them each time
Hi Anna
Is it just plain water at the water stations? Bottles / cups?
Also, what sort of sponge is available at sponge station? Victoria hopefully
Thanks
Thanks Anna!!
Looking forward to Sunday. Hopefully it'll stay dry
I am likely to have a gel at 4, 7 and 10 miles as they are just before a water station.
So in addition when I am scoffing down gels I will be wearing a black meningitis trust top.
Sounds like a good reason not to be near the back of the pack
