Congratulations on your times. Glad you all had a good day, we thoroughly enjoyed the day and are already looking forward to next year - change of date to September 25th so get your entries in early as this year's entry price is being held until Dec 31st 2010. I will pass on your thanks to both Ipswich Borough Council and Jaffa Running Club. See you next year!
It was a great day, very windy - but there isnt much the organisers can do about that! The goody bag was spot on, and the setup before and after was excellent.
I got a PB off over 3mins!! woohhooo not bad considering the conditions and the hill hell !!!!
fab organisation, great marshalls and the cheering on from many a local was great on an early bank holiday sunday morning the scenery was varied which was great
i do have to apologise to any runner after me as i had a issue right at the finish line sorry xx i must say the goody bag of water and mars bar sorted me right out!!
Muppley did you vomit? Glad I didn't see that
I got a PB too, but it was my first half marathon so it was guaranteed. 1h33m, quite pleased with that. Did anyone catch the name of the photo company that took the photos on the day?
i did tim! not good as it was right at the finish line tried to hold on til i could get to a loo but there werent many people to come in after me and the good oldschool woodchip was put over it! i think the name of the company was in our race pack im not sure if i still have that will check it out later
i really enjoyed this one and knocked a whopping 14 minutes of my PB! might even enter again next year, although i do live halfway between london and brighton
