Not sure why that is a man's car, though. Hope you're not implying women should be driving Mercedes! However, have to admit my knowledge of cars does not extend much beyond TR6s. My sort of car (if I had the money and didn't need a car for nearly 17 yr old to learn in): fast, low, convertible. (Any colour!)
Given the choice I'd go for a Lotus ELise or Vauxhall VX220 , there was going to be a nice audi TT type made by a french company but that never got of the board <sniff>
Benzy , you havnt lived till yuo've been out on the test track at lotus in a prototype for a client wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
BTW I drive a 1 1/2 times round the clock escort with a dodgy door lock that has to be opened from the inside and doors a different shade to the ret of the car
Thanks for the comments. As regards a "mans car" I have driven a T5 (225bhp) regularly and this is a 181bhp comfortable option. My other car is a Volvo (so beware all you motorcyclists!). I had a W123 (now I am being boring) and it is nice to drive around behind the three pointed star.
