I used to live in the middle of Brum when I was at uni. The tap water there truely is completely foul.
However, the swift addition of a Brita water filter solved that. And was a hell of a lot cheaper than living on bottled water for five years
So do I. Then I drink it. If I want more I can't get a refill without returning to my own tap. Or breaking in to someone else's house.
Perhaps he could claim that he felt the vibrations quite strongly, in fact... the Earth moved for him.... and now you have a 12" crack up your kitchen wall just by the fridge where the water is kept... and what are they going to do about it!?
It's hardly a revelation though that advertisers and marketing types want to make their product into a lifestyle choice. Nearly everything we buy is a marketed in this way and deny all you want, we are all influenced by it.
The food we eat, the shoes we run in, the cars we buy, the sofa we sit on. We consider price, practicality etc of course, but lifestyle or personal taste comes into it heavily. We can't help it.
What is amazing though it that some people will lap this much shite up with a spoon over a simple thing like water.
Unfortunately I know people who do lap up this sort of shite. As I said, I was married to one. They want to believe that this product is somehow better than ordinary water so they disconnect their brain and believe the marketing bullsh1t.
It's the same reason they buy homeopathy pills or go to Reiki practitioners. They want to believe it works even if all the evidence shows that it doesn't.
My Nan never drank plain tap water or bottled water in her life. She survived for 92 years on tea, supplemented by old-style Lucozade when she was poorly.
Wonder what the bottled water manufacturers would make of that?

Had the same advice in Aegina, RR, and took it. Another guest who didn't verified that it was indeed true.
I do tend to drink bottled water in Spain and Greece - usually because at least it's cold, which tap water isn't. But you can buy it pretty cheaply in 5 litre bottles at the supermarket, and decant it into small bottles for carrying around.
But I also drink tap water as you can easily become obsessed with that unpleasant thought!
