I think I'm somewhere on page 1 or 2 offering to hold his hand round VLM.  Offer still stands image

If I get into VLM next year, I'd love to escort Barry round.  We have 'previous' having done a quick trot round Aberdeen together in the summer.

TP: Barry may be the first hand carved baton to be carried around the VLM - could be some promo mileage in that Stu? He'll probably enjoy it more than I would (too busy, noisy,etc..), but I'm sure you'll both have a great time.

Strag - Bruce took him to VLM  last year as a "training run"image Still room for publicity though and I will work on it.He is pretty famous nowimage

Just a thought folks i think if this "event with Baz" takes of we will not be able to post all the dates on here, so I propose to keep a hardcopy diary with all the definate dates agreed and then folk can add their dates via this thread,

Just in case RW do what they did with the Flint/Blackpool leg and accidently loose it

How does that sound?? thoughts please  image

old Rustified one and Barry  are about 50 miles into their 100 as I write. He is on facebook so cheer the fella on eh?image

real shame that Rusty and Barry have not attracted interest from some of the "current" active coasters. We got to be more coaster focussed  than we are IMHO. Maybe a cold steel baton for 2011 to suit the spirit-lol

Morning, does anyone know how Rusty is getting on?
  • Options

right Glad - Rusty had to call it a day after 78 miles due to conditions. A brilliant achievement I say and worthy of all giving him the praise he deserves.imageimageimageimageimageimage

This is a genuine coasters thing you knowimage

Brilliant run Rusty image image. Which run were you doing? Weather conditions are atrocious to run in, so extra well done.

Nice to see some appreciation hereimage

coasters is about people like Rusty and a "spirit".image It is about Barry too. Barry smiles for all true coasters and them that speak to him and love himimage

It is not cold and hard,  ignorant , driven by a frown  and uneasiness. That wouldn't be coasters would it?

Do not forget what is important please.

This is a genuine coasters thing here  and one I am happy to endorse and promote.image
