Southampton Cancer Research 10K


Did anyone who did the 10K on The Common yesterday get the feeling that the course was under 10K long (by about a km?) - really surprised myself with my time compared to what I have been doing in training. This goes for a friend too.

I noticed that at the 2km marker my Nike+ display was saying only 1.75km.


  • Or do people find their time improves considerably at race events due to the competitive nature / crowd / adrenaline etc?
