Beneath the tights
Guys, now it's getting back into the winter season, the ol' running tights are coming back into vogue - But as we know they generally aren't lined, so does anyone have any advice for a decent pair of briefs to go under them? I've got some cheap and nasty ones, but it's not all that pleasant - I never enjoy wearing boxers with tights so looking for the classic brief style, but with a decent amount of room for unmentionables.
Any advice?

IF you live near a decathlon they have sports undies which arent too expensive.
I have bought in the past from TK Maxx... bit hit and miss though.
you have to double up.....lycra sports shorts.....

I went commando once (forgot to take undercrackers with me - wasnt running from home) and ended up with chafing on the end of my knob.
Something id rather not repeat.
I alays wear Next pants under my lycra tights.
Keeps everything in place and no chafing.

Ha, tried wearing nothing, and it's a bit chaotic down there.
Cheers for the tips on stuff folks, will have to have a look see - New decathalon opened in Reading so will peruse.
The Next or Matalan fitted style boxers with plenty of lycra in them are pretty good 'fitted' boxers.
However your opening comment has left me with a question: Do people wear anything under their shorts which DO have linings? I have used plenty of vaseline to reduce chaffing, but the lining and pants combo is not good. Do I cut out the linings, drop the undies or remain double covered?
My legs get cold... that would be what's wrong.....
I vote for Vaseline, lycra cycling shorts, then running tights........
I learnt last winter about the perils of doing long runs without a double layer to protect the boys, and the pain of the post-run shower.......... and since then I've made Vaseline a key part of my Sunday morning ritual
I wear under amour 9inch compression shorts these are excellent,,,Give great support and help keep my thighs warm ,,I also wear Nike pro theses are OK as well but if i had to choose under armour wins
I do run fast, without injury.
I seem to be that good.
