PTH Famous Five

  • Didn't get home until gone 7p.m. because of a hold up on the link road from Cardiff image By the time I'd changed, run, showered I wasn't having tea until 9p.m. and I got a soaking.image

Brynster with all these speed sessions we'll be calling you Haille. What intervals did you run?

BP Team - don't mind really, why not PTH though? But if BP are sponsoring the team and paying appearance money I'm definitely fully supportive of the idea.image

  • Brynster - I reckon we enter as Fulcher's Fine Window Furnishing
  • NST, sounds good, but will they allow dodgy building businessesimage

FF, there was only business teams aloud last year! don't know if its changed this year?

Last nights session was 2x1200 and 4x800. 9 mile total with the run down and back.

  • Checkout the Team entry info from the Race organiser for Aber 10k

Hi Andrew, Thanks for your e-mail and look forward to your participation. In the team category there has to be a minimum of three participants and it is the total time of all the team runners then averaged by the number of runners that go to finding the winning team. Team runners will not be eligible for any other prizes. CARL. From: andrew reynolds []

Myself and a few other runners from Port Talbot Harriers plan on running as a Business Team this year under Fulcher's Fine Window Furnishing. Can I confirm if this is possible?

  • That's the same as last year mate. If you enter that then if one of you win a position place you cant claim it! Its a very strange setup. Best we just do the same as last time and sign in individually.

Looking forward to the West Glam XC next week.....I've got a coporate ticket freebie for the All Blacks and a free bar the day before though.... image

  • FM, yes he was still a bit chesty so I kicked him when he was downimage Take no prisonersimage He was with me for 5mile.

No wind, it was a good day.

Not sure about Charles, he is having a few bad days in the office at the moment. But he said he is going to get it back together soon.

Yes it was great fun and a very good club turnout. Except for this hamstring!image It went at mile 8 and instead of slowing down I pushed on and sprinted the finish to beat the lad that beat me in the hilly4.

  • FF, sorry to hold you up mateimage. Don't you go drinking too much before the west glam!!!! your team is relying on youimage

    Todays team prizeimage

  • FF,by the way, i didnt say that!!image i was gutted you did not race me to the end?

FL - cracker of a run, i am dissapointed with myself for not packing my tom tom for the race!

got your phone message, i should be up for the race next week.

  • Bryn, also need to sort the Santa suit outimage will have a chat tomorrow.
  • oh yeah, ill have a look around in town tomorrow and see if i can find one

  • what date/time is the santa dash?
  • Bryn - You had me beat, wouldn't have been fair to have taken advantage of your extended tour of the woods. I've lost my way in a couple of races, the worst one was one of those Endurance Marathons last year - I followed someone 1 1/2 miles the wrong way and then had to double back......I did about 28 miles in the end....a bit depressing at the time.

I think I need to sharpen up, you've got the edge on me in the last couple of races.......

  • FF, your all heart mateimage. Hope you take pity on me in the next raceimage.

Bryn, its Friday at 5:30 I think.

  • Where is everyone?
  • image How you doing mate? You got the map ready for Sunday?
  • Evening lads, you all still out there?image
  • Crikey - are you blowing the dust off this forum, thought it had been left to die........
  • Was going to mate, but! well you know.

How you doing tonight? feeling better?

NST and myself went out to do 10m but cut it to 7m as we were both shot after yesterday!

  • I feel OK, not sure what would happen if I tried a long pacey run....I went for a run earlier but fairly easy pace. Will try some intervals tomorrow....glad to hear you and NST are also human and feeling tired after yesterday.
