Training with Chronic Fatigue

Since having half my colon removed a year ago I have struggled to get back to any kind of fitness.  I was finally diagnosed with Crohn's disease a few months back and apart from the obvious digestive problems the main thing getting in the way of proper recovery is chronic fatigue - caused because I don't absorb the nutrients from my food properly.

I did my longest run so far yesterday - 6 miles - but really really struggled and it took me 90 minutes.  I'm still shattered today and have no energy.

I'm not on any medication at the moment as everything they tried made me worse - from immune suppressants to chemo (image).  Overall I'm doing well controlling it with diet but I have my deferred place for VLM next year and really want to do it.

Has anyone got any advice on fitting marathon training round chronic fatigue??

ps - thanks KK for the NACC advice - really useful - especially the cant wait card!
