Best of luck Bridget, you have been very thorough in your training which I know will pay off, your experience in the distance will stand you in good stead too, I know you will stick to the plan as well
Been out and done my 3 miles tonight with 4 lots of strides at MP included. I practiced manually lapping the Garmin again, tonight I was trying not to look at it as I hit the button as I'll need to be looking for the Km marker.
Splits done in half miles again: 5.36 5.12 5.11 5.16 5.22 5.29
Gradually putting my stuff together in between making a shopping list for Mr USB!
Just discovered the thread has had a VIP visitor. My mum looked at the magazine in Smiths, brought it and has then looked at my video and had a read too
good final run - you have done all the training with great enthusiasm and effort and now time to enjoy a well deserved great run - thread over 40,000 visits tonight.
Somewhere in the past you posted a target for the first half. I've scrolled back like mad but can't find it and for some reason it hasn't stuck in my number obsessed brain. What is a sensible target both for halfway and for 20 miles?

I've decided not to do the 2 miles this morning due to a twinge at the front of my right ankle (probably paranoia) and grumbly guts (that's not my imagination). May do them this afternoon instead.
and 40,000 view is amazing considering there has been no controvosy on this thread...............its the heated debates that get the most interest...............so your thread is amazing................
Does anyone know do they have any tracking facility so we can see how Bridget is doing tomorrow? Anyone know her number? I was going to be 'running alongside' her doing Brighton but sadly have had to defer so would like to follow how she is getting on!
Morning! As Alex says there is an iPhone app but I can also register mobile numbers for updates. I'm not sure how many I can do. I've got Hash's number but not Pink's.
Let me know if you do want me to do it either on heror via a text
My number is 40490.
I've had breakfast and could feel Ruth looking over my shoulder as I made my choices? We're off to the Expo at 11 and have photos at 3 but are free otherwise. A has asked me to get her a black beret so I may wander off to look for one later.
It is very sunny here with clear blue skies. Forecast is for it to cool marginally tomorrow

Hi Steve

Thanks Steve, see you in a few hours

Done the miles now - average pace 10.53.
Rather warm here at the moment
it is indeed rather warm - times will be harder but at least you will get a nice tan!
I'm going to miss you USB (and friends)
