Jason that's great running and well done on Fetch I've managed to claw my way up to page 5, not sure if I will hit 100+ a week happy to sit in the 8o's. Spoons that's also great running you have become very consistent over the past year or so. USB brill nice to see you increasing the miles
AGF- good question indeed... my answer some of them.............my main objective was to complete a marathon which I did!! Other objectives no!! 2012's coming thou..............
7 miles steady this morning nice Nice running guys and dolls With regards to your question Spoons yes did that sub 3 hr marathon did a few tri's and PB at the half marathon. Looking forward to beating the PB's I set this year and hoping to stay injury free in 2012
Yes and no. I wanted to run at least once each month and had January & November with no running at all. However I did get 4 new pbs! (2.5 miles, 5k, 5 miles and 10k)
No running for me tonight. All plans went up in smoke when I played the wicked mother card and grounded my 12( wannabe 16) year old daughter............... maybe not the most thought punishment but it seemed justified at the time especially since its her school christmas disco tonight.
Work has been silly busy but have been running. Last night 8 miles with 3 lots of 2 miles at 6.42mm. 4 miles easy Monday night and a pathetic weekend as black ice, impossible to walk on let alone run even along canal bank. Did 5 miles round the rugby pitch on Saturday and 11 miles on TM Sunday.
15 miles easy this morning. Fiona great training on the treadmill my 15 this morning was on the treadmill. Gobi stick to the training for the long stuff.

80 mile week for me more enjoyable is the fact I have done 63 miles in 3 days and 107 miles in 8 days and still only running once a day.
I'm currently reading email and writing training plans.....
Quiet on here....Still over a week to go!
Great miles Gobi

Gobi & Jason,
Well done. It's certainly got quieter & quieter. (Goes off to have a nosey at next year's thread.)

2011 Objectives
Marathon complete - Yes, Sub 4 - No
10k - Pb - Yes
1/2M Pb - Yes
Weight loss - Partial - below 13 stone now but wanted to do that before marathon.
Overall - Very happy.
Good to see most people met at least some of their objectives.
Gobi....you have a plan and I have a feeling that 2012 will be a good one for you
I also did my first ultra and 4 marathons in 4 days.
No PB on the marathon though - it was rubbish
Spoons, my worst marathon year since 2005 even winning some has not been enough to cheer me up :¬0
AGF,
Yes and no. I wanted to run at least once each month and had January & November with no running at all. However I did get 4 new pbs! (2.5 miles, 5k, 5 miles and 10k)
Gobi,
Great blog as always.

Well done on everyone's training.
Gobi- great blog and good to see you happier. Didn't realise that I was streaking until now
Can't complain with 2011 PBs at 5k (x6), 10k (x3), 10m, half (x3) 20m and mara (x2) including sub 3
12m for me tonight at 7.58 av- all easy, all good
I got 1 PB this year over 800 metres over every other distance I couldn't get into the same minute as my PB never mind get one.
Maybe I should give up distance running .....
Or get on with training for Comrades
I will NEVER see a 800 PB again - or a 400....
Kaz,
Oopps. It must have been good for that to happen (shame about your run though).
Loads of PBs in 2011 - I got one, 10k!
