Thinking about it. i know I know its about the same time as Outlaw Half! But it's local and cheap. I promise I will come and shout at people (sorry support) a lot at Outlaw.
MrsD - don't worry about how slow you are, concentrate on technique and it will come over time (I hope)
did intend going to tri club swim tonight, but youngest doesn't want to go to karate (can't blame him, the sports hall they do it in is boiling) so have to stay home - he will be in bed when OH goes out to pick up eldest from scouts. Once I start the swim smooth sessions he won't be allowed to choose!!
not going to bike or turbo in this heat - so will have an early night and maybe a long turbo in the morning to make up for missing a session
buttercup - have you heard back from the swimsmooth guy? At the weekend he emailed to say he was at the National Champs in Liverpool and would send me stuff on Monday but I haven't heard back from him I have sent him another email to remind him!
He emailed me back saying the same thing - haven't heard from him since. He must be a busy person.
Had a nice swim with EP & Tired Badger I swam two loops the weed was a lot and I am convinced I saw a large fish swim underneath me but I had a blast. What a difference a day makes!
ST - you keep disappearing and we always miss you! Welcome back.
Cat - hope you're feeling better.
Cycled to my pilates class today and got screamed at by a lady driver who obviously thought I shouldn't be sharing her section of road. It's scary being screamed at and I wasn't doing anything wrong. I cycle very carefully cos I don't want to be knocked over!
EP I could've sworn I saw a big one underneath me at one point closer to the first island but I saw nothing else but weeds It was lovely last night - I came home and I was all enthused about swimming again made me happy and husband made roast vege risotto for tea - nom.
I didn't make it to Bozzy last night, had a lazy moment, was tucked up by 8.30 so finally slept a good 8-9hrs, that should make up for all the 4 hour sleeps this week.
Sorry I didn't get to meet you guys, but will be at Bozzy next Thursday with my hat
I am struggling too, and my classroom is so hot it is horrible, my feet are all swollen and I feel like an old woman
buttercup - I have had an email now from the swimsmooth guy quite glad that it is the second week back at school that it starts, as the first week is always manic
MC, you must finish work soon. Enjoy hols in Spain, I did.
I got up at just after 5am and went for a run. Did 26 minutes according to the Garmin and thought the temperature to be fine. Caught the early train to work as well. Must remember to stretch this evening.

I believe a lot in fate EP... Maybe come and do 113 with me next year!
Ay up ST, lovely to have you back. Sounds like you have a PLAN!
i have recently discovered the joy of foam rollering Steady. Only difficulty is stopping the dogs from 'helping' whilst on the floor!
Respect to you Maths for getting up early to do hill reps. You continue to put me to shame.

Just remember no bombing or heavy petting.

I am feeling jealous of the ow swimmers - no way I am going to get the chance this weekend either...
mind you, next Friday I am off to Northern Spain for a fortnight so will have some chance there - sea swims and possibly lakes too
Sounds as though the OW swim went well. Sure that more than 2 is a party though!
Maths that sounds lovely. Bet you can't wait for a break away!
So, is anyone else struggling to sleep?
Not me, I was nodding off on my bike the other night
I have been told that I could sleep in a war zone though
I've struggling at the moment not used to all this heat. The old lads around have have even stopped wearing there flat cap's!
