Sounds good no more dropping out please guys, Smiffy has gone to a lot of trouble to find us a flat easy route.  Hope to get my bike back from it's service next weekend,  otherwise I'll be turning up on one of the girls pink three wheelers

I was thinking of doing a route incorporating some of the 'Hell of Ashdown' route into the ride just to show what a con it is about it being hilly  

There's a very nice cafe on Ashdown forest

I should pay attention cos I was thinking this was a Boxhill ride.     Not a clue where Ashdown Forest is?????  I will get lost trying to find it.   I do hope it's not bliddy miles away.....off to google.

Cross the A23 dearest then head for Forest Row then turn right, Ashdown is just down the road from there.

Saffers,  start location will be within an hrs drive and the jaffamobile will be fuelled up and willing to transport you (as long as you don't moan too much about the hills )

I have done a Smiffy ride once before Dustboy.....hence the hesitation but then again, creme eggs weren't on sale that time.

 *crosses fingers*  I promise not to moan about the "h" word.   I shall take train fare money then for the homeward journey cos I just have to look at a hill to be moaning.   Thanking you Jaffa, a lift would be great and I shall supply you with tea and cake but don't be worrying that I will have baked the cake.....baking isn't my thing.

Haha, just been looking at the 'Hell of Ashdown' course. If that is hell then it is only set on gas mark three!!

As for the 19th, I guess a 09:30 start from my hovel will give most people sufficient time to assemble themselves. Anyone who needs an address please feel free to message me
