    Inbreds ???

I must admit I am not actually Cornish. I have only been here 25 years so I am only halfway to giving myself the luxury of 'legally' calling myself so!

Took a bit of a liberty with my name hoping nobody down here would find out.

  • Its ok .. we wont tell !
  • CD nor am I only been down here since 1976 oim a larndaner keep it under your hat or the Kernow b@stards will be round with the pitchforks and flaming torchesimage

Love it down here mind and would never go back to London

  • RBM, I can understand why, rolling hills, moors, beaches, sunshine surf and no southerners

(except in the summer with their their caravans, pinching all our pasties)

  • You are very lucky indeed ... my dad made it as far as Devon which is very lovely too and just about a decent drive away!
  • We are lucky, although it has its downsides. One of which is that it is so far to get anywhere else in the country, but you can't have everything.

image I can lent you a tent if you want and sure others can to?

One of the pirates used to have a caravan and is called dave it's become a bit of a pirate in joke after he lost it in his devorce. Very nice man and you will probably meet him at some point. Just don't tell him I said that. image
    I can read !!!!!!!!!!
  • image I most remember to edit posts. image
  • Barlos - when you write your autobiography (I know a good ghostwriter image )be sure to call it "Bunting, Balloons and Cheesy Tunes".

    image
  • Not burgers, cornish pasties and chicken wraps image
  • not as rhythmically melodic, sweetie...
  • If Gumps brings his tent along again then the whole of Nottingham can stay in it, no probs image
  • Lol yes .. I had forgotten that,  we only need to book for one in that case!
  • Re cheesy tunes....some poor mug got roped into making some CDs last year so that was not an issue.  What was the issue was not having anything that worked to play them on
  • We shall sort out some soundtastic system this year, or just open the doors on one of the cars.

Providing the feedstation is in the same spot noise shouldnt be a problem as there were no houses nearby.
  • I think 10kw should do the trick nicely image
  • So ... who's organising it this year or are you going to relinquish your duties again just as it gets interesting?

    image
  • We just need to make sure the choons aren't so loud that they can't hear us shouting 'High 5' 'water' etc!

I did wonder why the choons never appeared last year!

  • I wondered as well, I think it was a failure in Meldy's organisation!  I shall reluctantly let her help this year as everyone deserves a 2nd chance image
  • You're such a gent image
  • I didnt realise you spelt 'twat' that way .....   image

Surely, putting a gag on Dear Barlos would be of benefit on that point image
