I read about this in the metro yesterday and didnt know how to react...
I have to admit if it was cheaper i might have been tempted to try it, although i might gag a bit.... Ive recently found out im allergic to cows milk protein and really miss icecream so ill give anything a go! why does it bother you so much?
I can understand why people would be put off at the thought, but we consume products from other species so why not out own?
My objection would be based on the fact that the milk could be put to better use - donated to paediatric units for example. Other than that though I don't have a problem with it
It does seem odd, but as Angel says - we're drinking the milk of strangers every time we put it on our cornflakes.
To me it's like the distinction some people make between animals - "oh, I couldn't eat cute fluffy bunnies..." but they will happily tuck into a steak.
If you eat meat, you eat animals. If you drink milk, you drink the milk of someone who is not your mother!
Why on EARTH is it wrong - re comments made about goats, cows etc etc, drinking a humans milk is no blinkin different, its one of the most natural things in the world for a woman to produce milk so why is that wrong or gross?
Its a gimmick, i'd try it but i wouldn' spend £14 to try it, thats the bit i object to but yes, liking the idea of encouraging women to breastfeed more - if they can of course, its your choice etc etc
Chemiclas to grow the grass, chemicals that have passed into the atmosphere and fallen in the rain, chemicals from the fallout of Chernoybyl that are still affecting some areas...do you more?
Not overly keen on the idea myself esp at £14 a serving.
Its not as gross as women who still breastfed their 7 year old children though. Drinking breast milk is one thing when you're not a baby, but getting it direct from source is something else.
Animals free from toxins? You do talk rubbish sometimes.
You know the fields, where animals graze? Do you think the ground is free from toxins that the farmers may have used when growing crops? If it ain't organic it ain't free from toxins (And even organic can't be 100%).

It makes much more sense for us as humans to drink our own milk, rather than cow, goat or sheep milk.
Don't see a problem at all.
Would I drink breast milk? Nope. That's a bit weird. However, ice cream...

Animals that eat there own (and other animals) shit - pure???, ok sure
Many (most?) milking cows are filled full of drugs, such as antibiotics, which pass into the milk. I wouldn't call that 'pure'.
Anyway, have you seen how close cows udders are to their backsides??
