I have trouble with the university tinkering with my student assessments when they're manipulating the distribution of results. When I have a student who's an unequivocal "A", I give them about 95% so they don't bet adjusted downwards. Last year I gave one lazy b*gger an "E" and he ended up passing.
A lot of kids in Med School ARE exceptional and deserve credit for it.
just got an email from commonwealth games legacy asking for volunteers to help with the BHF jog at salford quays as part of the triathlon week festival - mmm should be fun - first interesting thing they have offered me !! get a free bhf tshirt as well !
anyway its a 2 mile 'jog' around salford quays - seems to be a series of them - one at canary wharf etc !!
my boycat has just bought in the tiniest mouse ive ever seen - not much more than an inch long - ive put in a box in the garage to calm down and will let it go later if it doesnt escape!!
Many years ago, my cats brought in a mouse and when the kids shooed them away from it the poor thing wasn't able to move its hind legs. The cats must have severed its spinal cord. I had to tell the kids I was taking it outside to set it free, then wring its neck and dispose of it when I was out of sight.
No such luck when the brats found an injured woodpigeon in the garden. They stood over it like mother hens until arrangements were made to take it to a rescue centre where, I am sure, it was promptly euthanised.
ive managed to get quite a few critters away from boycat as he brings them in unharmed and then deposits them in the house and looses them ! mostly frogs . at 4am in the morning . so im good at releasing them back into the wild!! - thought it might have been a harvest mouse as they are quite rare now - but could well be a vole - or minimus mouse - anyway if it lives its going free
its against my principles to kill any livng thing - unless of course it is a mercy killing
Great deal on new trainers £70 to £50 quid in Sweatshop, Finchley.
Bad News - Had no change for Pay and Display went off and returned within 10 mins to get a ticket but the ........ beat me to it and I well and truely got a ticket. £40 payable within 2 weeks otherwise £80. Couldn't find the little shite to roar at him either. They certainly know how to make there money.
I wouldn't mind but I could have bought another pair of trainers instead.
