    "Keep going!"  image

  • The race heading in the opposite direction is down to one remaining runner - and they are still in Scotland!!

Hope you guys aren't passing by too many pubs.
  • Impressive stuff guys and gal ! Keep it up !
  • Hail Hail

    Ice cream pit-stops?

  • Hope all is going well and that the blistering is under control.

Some pictures not for people just eaten. However, we're having more change to update as we go along here.

I've had to rest today as ankles are un-runable, which has meant Caz and Kelvin are on their own today... praying I can run again soon to keep the mileage and spirit going... so I've missed my home leg today... gutted to say the least!

Caz nigh on finished and Kelvin at 11 mile at the moment, DAY SIX!

    Cheers Pug image

  • Hail Hail

Nae luck Pug.  Will bring you some pies on Monday to cheer you upimage.  In all seriousness though, all the very best, hope you are able to run tomorrow.

  • Hope the ankle has improved.

    Best wishes

  • Well done guys - inspiring stuff.

And I don't often say that lightly.
  • Pug, hope you can get back in there tomorrow.

Njord and Caz, highest regard for what you are doing. I know you'll give it your best plus more.
  • Njord, Caz, Pug - great stuff, hope you are all well ... considering ;¬)
  • Hugely inspiring. Keep it up!
  • excellent going image
  • Okay, while I'm waiting for Kelvin... I'll update everyone. Day Seven, Mark no running due to ankles... however Kelvin and Caz did their legs superbly with Caz running up and down the kirkstone pass... and that is a killer almost all of you will know. Some stunning photos on our Facebook site and now some high def videos as well...

Kelvin is currently running leg one day eight, its very warm, 18c but very windy which could be a blessing. He's about to reach the water point with me 2:20pm ish...

Caz left on her leg around 1:00pm so once I've fed and watered Kelvin it'll be on to make sure Caz is ok.

As for me, hoping to get out running again Monday... fingers crossed the swelling in the ankles has gone enough to enable me to run. Only ran five of the eight days so far... very annoying but let's hope Puggy will be back out on the road with Tue team doing his fair share tomorrow. Will update tonight but please check out our website for the Facebook link or simply search friends for "LeJoG13" and add us. You don't even have to join Facebook to view all the posts.
Thanks to everyone following us, means a lot and It's when it goes wrong you need the support. Just leaving lakes today running wise.
  • You won't believe this, Kelvin has just done a 6:00 minute mile dead... that is incredible... were now sitting outside a pub with me laughing ROFL. The man's a weapon...
  • Not sure how I've missed this fred so far.  Great running, guys, and hope the ankles are improving, Pug.
  • Well done on gettng to the border. RB should be on hand shortly with the deep fried Mars bars.
  • He's currently running with Kelvin as we speak.
  • Been following this thread since you started and just wanted to say; Wow, I'm in aweimage you guys are doing great!
  • fantastic you guys.image
  • Hail Hail

An absolute pleasure and priviledge to run with Kelvin yesterday.  Beer break at 12.5M was swiftly followed by an ice cream break around 16M.  Just a superb day out.  Completely life-affirming.  Lovely to meet Caz.  Disappointed in Pug's pear drop style drinking.

  • Sorry I missed you Guys when you passed through Bebington, Bala training weekend and all that!!!! Great running Guys, know you'll be having a blast despite the sore legs, keep soldiering on, john o Groats is a mere stones throw away, ish!!!
  • Congratulations on an amazing achievement

    Time for (another) beer. Enjoy.
