  • Thanks SOLB, it was delicious. Had a great run this morning.  6 miles just bimbling along and the whole thing sub 9mm, so much easier since the weight has gone. I know it's obvious but has made a huge difference.

    Interesting food day today (ie chaos) as very busy and totally useless: run, diet coke, no breakfast, burger from BBQ I was running,  a couple of haribos, a couple of glasses of wine and finally beans on toast. Not going to win any nutritional prizes.

    Back on the straight and narrow tomorrow.

    Forgot to post my result so done a quick WI now image clothed and in evening and still a STS how happy am I.

  • Definitely a well deserved roast dinner FL!  I had a roastie for the first time in ages yesterday too, think you appreciate it more when you don't have it too often.  Going for a weigh in tonight, although not sure I will have lost anything. 

    My NSV for the week though was completing a half marathon yesterday in 2:37 in the pouring rain!  It was only my second half, the other one being the GNR last year, and I managed to knock nearly 27 minutes off my previous time image  Very chuffed indeed!

    Im on a roll 1x7miler and 3 x 10mile runs in 4 daysimage my legs are still feeling fab so the training is paying of, hoorah!

    Don't know what to offer in the way of advice (he said having just had a completely calorie laden few days), other than you can't undo it, so treat today as another opportunity.

    Strawberries are gorgeous at the moment- 400g is about the same as a packet of crisps.

    Howz everyone doing - like the idea of not stepping over the line...

  • I may be plateauing but as I just had to buy a whole new wardrobe incliuding new running bras (not cheap) this may be about right.  Not sure if I've ever been a size 8 before but I'm enjoying it now!

     I'm certainly either the same weight or less than I was 15 years ago.  Different scales and fitter body add to confusion but clothes tell the tale.

    I am back exercising and eating well, so am hoping to record a good loss at the next weigh-in at the end of the month

  • Foxy lady I'm impressed with the weight loss, hopefully I won't be too far behind you. I am determined to get a new wardrobe and look great in my tri suit instead of looking like a fat blob!

    Luckily with all my exercise I have maintained but if I want to lose I need to cut back on the food...

    WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT?

  • You just need to find your motivation BWT, get your head in the right zone and then focus. Then it's easy!! But I know from personal experience how hard it is to find that place.

    I will head over to the naughty diet step but I worry that the chocolates will still be there!

  • Maybe have a good step...  and a naughty house...  Seems the step will be pretty empty that way round.
  • Naughty step definitely needs an extension image  Was pretty good on Saturday, despite being told that I'm basically too fat for any wetsuits in my price range, I mainly managed to eat well.  Yesterday I just spiraled out of control though image  Had to run a 10k in that blistering heat yesterday morning and got burnt, even though I'd put sunscreen on, and then had to rush around sorting out shopping and stuff when I got back which meant I didn't eat proper meals and then ended up scoffing a whole BOX of Vienese Whirls, crisps and ice cream as well as tea.  Epic fail image   Back on it today though. 

    Mind you my NSV for this week is finishing that bloody race yesterday and in 1:13, which is a good time for me considering it was hilly and felt like running in an oven!!

    I propose we forget about our past stuff and the scales ... lets all focus on just being good for the next 24 hours. I'm going to keep a 24 hour food diary starting from now, will report back
