Hi - no you didn't scare me off Sberry! I ended up with a flurry of emails over the lunchtime that kept me busy until well into the evening so no running afterall. I did get out this afternoon though, but it was so awful, I cut it short and was home after just 2.5miles with aches and pains all over. Oh well.
You, on the other hand Cabbey, are going great guns. Well done with your long runs, and best of luck with the Cayman run
And Sberry ran her HM today too...I won't give the game away - but I've left a message on your blog...
I hope you have managed to find some time for yourself MWW. Best of luck keeping that cold away.
MWW I understand what you say, my OH is gone on business on average 3 weeks out of every month. I have had to juggle training, work, household stuff, paperwork and dogs for more than 30 years, so you have my sympathy. It isn't easy.
2700m swim this morning, hike with the dogs after, coffee and cake this afternoon, and about to sit down to a turkey breast roast dinner now. Oh, and a glass or two of wine to accompany it!
MWW well done on managing to find some time to run
BI happy swimming
Pegg boo hiss for work, but well done for getting out there today
As Pegg already mentioned (thanks for the comment xx) I had my last race of the year, a local HM to say I'm happy with the result is an understatement. I've only gone and got a sub 2 hours 1.52.39 to be exact loved this run and no not just with the time, but it was a really enjoyable run altogether
Came 44th out of 96 ladies (wooohooo top half of the results ) and 154th out of 252 runners.
Have already taken myself off to bed and chilling out relaxing. Looking forward to a couple of easy weeks before deciding what to do next
Grrr. Planned to run after work today. I even took my kit to the office to get changed into so that there would be no excuse when I got home...then I didn't get out on time and only got home at 7:45pm by which time I was way too hungry to run. Now I've eaten and there's just one hour until bed so no running despite my best efforts . Next opportunity is Thursday night...
I've just had a fab text off a friend, who I've inspired to start running she has just done 2 x 10 mins run with a 5 min walk in between. So proud of her, feel like a proud mum. Sorry just had to tell someone
I managed to get away from work early enough tonight to go for a run . It was painful and slow but I burnt some calories, which for now, is all it's about.
No I've not got the lurgy, but been away with Mberry at a gym comp and before that I was caught up with making my SIL's wedding invits which she has thankfully received and like them
Went for a three part run this morning Run 1 was run from home to the Front to meet a friend as we were taking part in the Santa run, which would be her first ever 5k
She did brilliantly and am so proud of her, especially as she only started running end of September
I then carried on after for another 10 and a bit km
Was cold and wet whilst waiting for the start of the Santa run, but soon cleared and was really nice
I'm good thanks Sberry - writing lists galore of all the things I need to do before Christmas! I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to next Friday being the last day of work and a nice break, or dreading Friday coming around because it means there's hardly any time left to do anything!!
I hope the Berries get well soon - there's a lot of bugs going around up here, some families are on their second hits...it's miserable for them really. I hope you get to go out training soon!
Snow all gone and the weathermen say very little chance of a white Christmas yet again. Treated myself to a new hair do this morning with festive red highlights - going to a Christmas party tonight.

I "ran" tonight! 2 miles in the woods with my dogs, in the snow. It felt wonderful to finally be back where I belong.
Hooray BI!!
Hi Pegg how are you?
Did 5km run and walk today with Nemo, plus weights and core work and 30 mins on the exercise bike. I'm on my way back!
