I never know how these things go really. On the plus side, the guy who walked me out when it finished said one of my answers was 'absolutely spot on'. On the downside, I don't think I did particularly well on one of the other points put to me.
I should hear by the end of the week tho, so not long to wait.
Hopefully, it will be good news, in which case you'll be allowed to start your own thread and post as many "Me, me, me" comments as you wish, complete with photos of fluffy animals.
I've had an awful week, but a brief trip to Tesco this evening has brightened my week no end. The till-jockey hummed-and-harred over whether I needed to show ID to prove I was over 25. I managed to persuade him I was over 25 but he was incredulous when I told him I was actually 38.
Last night, at the Christmas party, and again this morning, Hubby's illness lifted enough to show signs of the person I fell in love with. I know its a little thing but I now feel that there might be some hope.
I PB'ed today and went sub60 for a 10k. Very chuffed as I didn't think I would do it this year. I was supposed to do a half, but it was snowing and cold, so I did the 10k instead and BINGO!
Did a swim, just one of my 50m sets were easy, you know that dreamt of ease, everything going well, no resistance from the water but no hard effort either. Didn't last of course but I cracked the minute barrier so very very happy.
I am Tri training and know what it feels like when you get that magic second wind when running, this was the swimming equivalent.
CJ - I know about that dreamt of ease - I sometimes get it for about 4 strokes. Well done you!
Thanks for the link JT - loved the bit about wicking sweat and e-mailing it.

My computer's DVD player is on its last legs. It's what I use to accompany me turboing and to watch films on, particularly as I don't have a tele. A lovely friend not only offered to lend me his spare Apple ibook indefinitely, he delivered it to me at work then gave me a lift home via a Thai restaurant where he picked up the bill as my Christmas present. Friends are brilliant!
Having had no working oven since the 29th September, we returned home from being away for Christmas to find the landlord has finally got it fixed! Then found tesco are selling off their party food cheap so we could buy some to go in the oven.
Looking forward to jacket potato, pizza, caseroles, cottage pie, lasagna etc in the new year.

Not sure where to ask, but this seems as a good a place as any. How did the interview go, AN?
Well, I hope.

*crosses everything*
I'm sure that you did better than you think. Hindsight is great at reminding us what we should have said at the time
I've found (over the years) that it's often the times where you think you've messed it up, that you do best - or get what you want.

Everything crossed.
Festive wishes for the right result AN.
