I'm not sure why it happens, and no matter how much i stretch out before a run, after 9 miles or so i get a real bad ache/pain in my left Trap muscle right by the shoulder blade, its sometimes quite painful.
i run 70% off road so i put it down to looking down as i need to watch the terrain a lot more than road running, but it seems to be affecting me on road runs too,
anybody else have this issue? any ideas how to get around it?
