SA great to see you aboard...........its a great place for supporting  with so many loops............just remember the course is long and you really need a support team there.

Yep already sussed that, can't see Mrs SA and Jordy be able to get down for this so will have to press gang a few pirates

SA - just prepare for a hilly off road run course, an undulating bike course and a PB swim course

Still not sure which, if any to do in 2012, might concentrate on the Outlaw trip instead

Would trail shoes be better than normal road shoes for the run?

Might do the HIM as a training *do* for The Outlaw. Depends on finances, really. Especially now I know its miiiiiiles from where I live!

SA - most people were wearing 'normal' running shoes, I think Mon went for her Walsh shoes though.

I was in my Nike Frees, which were ok. I would recommend anyone doing more than the 5x to pack pairs of run shoes and bike shoes a size bigger than normal for when the feet swell.

Planning on the double and dont think Mrs SA and jordy can get the time off to come down, so have no support crew and as your dead speedy you will have completed in half in about 5 hours so you could look after me for the rest of the time
