Excellent mornings entertainment by Cat5. I now know what a singletrack is, that puddles can go to the centre of the earth and trap your front wheel and why I must never be allowed clipless pedals on a mountain bike.
Excellent ride leader, he didn't laugh out loud once (that I heard) and I will deffo be asking for a repeat lesson. (Have already actually)
The rest of you. Where were you? It was a luvly day and Cheeseburgers and Bovril rounded it off nicely.
Oh, and 10 miles in 2.5 hours! Which is entirely down to me.
Twas good, especially the Bovril. I went the long way home to find another track I knew (Corkscrew). I got lost, fell off, then went home. I wil climb that hill next time. Probably in the summer when there is more grip.
Cracking day out Grommit.
I've found an old GPS track that shows the Corskcrew, and how it links nicely into the Seagull, then Stickler, Tank-Traps and then home. We can extend that to the jump gully and the DH area.

It's outside the cafe compound, in front of the discovery centre/bike hire place.
Don't forget permits!
