On holiday now, having sent out a load of control-freak emails about 'what to do if x,y and z come up when I'm away'. For two days .
No packing done yet, but my flight's not till 3:30 tomorrow so it can wait till the morning.
Stockholm - what shoes did you do your last long run in? Stick with those if you didn't have any problems. I've been trying less cushioned shoes over the summer and after a few long runs in them I'm reasonably confident they'll be OK, but I'd suggest now's not the time to start experimenting.
Am experimenting with new shoes on Sun... possibly not such a great idea at this stage but tbh, my last ones have been giving me so much pain I thought I'd feel less stressy in a new pair, have changed from Asics to Brooks.. never had a pair of them before but seriously feels like I'm walking on air. We shall see!
Are there plans for post race refreshments, sorry, am being lazy and not reading back through everything
The iPhone app favourites section is working now! Tough to decide which 5 runners to include, and which 106 to snub (yes my running crew is sending 111 people this weekend!!).
Thanks Simon.. shall head over after a long soak and some bubbles (the celebratory kind!). Am I right in thinking you and Mrs MacD are at the Times? OH and I are there.. Hope there aren't too many stairs!!
Hi Oldscotia, sorry for the delay in coming back to you. I needed 3 nights accommodation and couldn't find anything that worked around just the one night. Many thanks for the offer though. I've managed to sort somewhere for the 3 nights.
squirellypoo: 111 runners from your crew alone? There use to be less than 100 Swedes registered in total...
Sitting at the airport in Stockholm and waiting for the flight to Amsterdam. Good luck everyone! I may come into Hole in the wall after the race. I suppose it's not strictly a British only event?
I'll be travelling up from Belgium tomorrow morning and then hitting the expo in the afternoon. I'm hoping that i'll do my sightseeing during the marathon
Quick update on the weather for everyone. Suns out and feels greatly warmer then it was yesterday. If this holds up for Sunday then it'll be a good run.

That was the latest count. Then I heard 120 but also know a few aren't running due to injuries. But it's around that number. We should form our own Run dem Crew country.
I'm flying out tomorrow morning! Don't know if I'll be able to meet up afterwards, but I wish you all luck and congratulations simultaneously.
Best of luck to everyone, travelling up in the morning and looking forward to a good weekend, will see everyone for post race drinks. Safe travels all.
All packed, the sofa now beckons. Flight out at 9:50am tomorrow fo me. Best of luck to everyone, hope everyone smashes it! Would love to join in for a drink afterwards but I'm straight off to the airport and flying back home at half four!
Terrible final week preparation, heavy cold and chest infection. Was ready to pull out on Wednesday, but am recovering and determined to do it after 16 weeks of hard work. All packed and ready for early 6am flight from Luton!!!
Good luck to all, I'm going to stick to my original plan of 8min miles and just c how it goes!!!!
Pub is in two halves. Think the other half is called Hoopman just to confuse matters (it's two pubs joined into one). Rght in the centre of leidesplein on the square. Trams 5,2,1 stop right outside and 10, 7 just on the corner.
Te thought of a pint is the only thing keeping me going!

Anyone flying from Newcastle tomorrow morning?
Best of luck everyone, hopefully I'll be able to swing across to the pub and say hello in person.
