Never really eaten anything straight after a run, but started training for a marathon and found out apparently it's a really good idea.
What I've done this last week is eat a piece of flapjack and a 1/3 of a pint of skimmed milk. Is this ok? Carbs and protein, right?

Think it depends on how heavy a session it was.
For me after a 10 plus mile run or a tough gym session I would have a banana and an apple with a pint of milk. Find that keeps me going until my main meal.
