We will both be happy to see you all at mile 17. Well done to all the supporters.
Lets hope I get to mile 17 without niggles coming back, ice packs and rest are not what I have been used to in the last 6 months! Really missing training sessions and the quality 'me' time!
Good luck to all the other London marathon virgins
thank you thank you ... we're appearing for one day only ... blink and you'll miss us ... concentrate when you see the water station just before Mile 17 ... if it's in the same place as last year we will hopefully be on the same side but just past it.
Either would be most welcome JD. Will be lovely to see you again At this rate I'm going to spend all the day hugging and chatting to people I haven't seen for ages. I'll have no time for my runners.
Gotta love our runners this year making sure us poor supporters will be okay - because obviously we've got the hard job, it's not like we have to go for a wee trot round 26.2 miles or nuffink....
Hehe, one of the lovely people who came to support me at Brighton said how hard it was holding up a sign when it was so windy ... and then said "not as hard as running a marathon, obviously!" It did make me chuckle
I'm super-excited to be supporting on Sunday, really looking forward to meeting everyone and cheering on all our runners. I know Vik has said this, but being involved with the VLM support crew is the BEST cure for post-marathon blues ever.
I can't wait to go to the Expo either, I missed the Brighton one because I got there too late on Saturday. I saw some people running with visors they bought at the Expo - very jealous! Hope they are also available at the London one.

Thanks SBH she will see you at expo.

TP,
All being well I'll be at Mudchute on Sunday, would you like me to provide a bottle of liquid refreshment?
Fizzy or SB?
I will also bring some jelly babies...for those running
This is my first marathon - I have type 1 diabetes and running in a JDRF vest. Hopefully at mile 17 around 2:40-2:50.
My number is 41320 - oh and my name is Emma.
Thank you and can't wait!
Hi Emma, you can attach yourself to Group 2 if you want. Please excuse all the poetry on the thread tonight
If you want to leave anything at the Expo we'll have it there for you at Mile 17 I'm sure you'll have a great day.
Hi Emma
@TP - hint away... If I were you i'd be asking for "supporter contributions" Should I add in tonic water? or is pure gin enough?
hello all!!
How are we all feeling?
Did brighton on sunday new PB for me!!!
Can't wait to be on the other side of the fence on Sunday!!
Well done Vik W I am sure it will be a lot easier this weekend. Just don't strain your drinking hand in the run up to it.
Tonic ... well there's an idea ... ward off the cramp too ... slimline of course ... our bodies are temples
I'll bring you the ickle bottles so you'll barely notice it....
