London physio needed!

Can anyone recommend a no frills london based physio who simply knows their stuff and wants to help you rather than just getting your cash!?

I saw a great physio at City Road Physio...just north of old st roundabout

He was very much in tune with my requirements of:

• tell me what's wrong
• give me a some short-term improvement
• show me what to do to make it go away

Physioforlife in Putney are very good if a little expensive, I use Rory at Brunel Uni in teddington he's part of the UK elite support staff and a very competent guy

I have been using Chris Barber at Advanced physiotherapy centres for a few years for sports related injuries - inc marathon running - and have complete confidence in him.

I've seen a few - recommend Physio4Life in Putney, they don't take any crap though. Expect to be reprimanded if you don't do your exercises. I also like On Track Sports Therapy who perate out of Fitness First in Brixton. Cheaper, but still excellent quality and very nice people.

I've been through quite a few over the years and cannot recommend pure sports med highly enough. I see Laura at the Kensington site, but they have a couple of others too. A very slick operation with all the services you could ever need under one roof... It probably wont be the cheapest option, but I have in the past gone to cheaper physios and wish I'd gone straight to PSM and saved time and ultimately money.... http://www.puresportsmed.com/

Nolene at Kinetic Physio at the Queen Mother's Sports centre near Victoria Station is great. I've seen her for two problems and after seeing me a couple of times she has fixed me. I can't recommend her highly enough.
