9.45 kick off, 15 minutes to cross the line, the very minimum of 2½ hours more likely 3 hours to 17 miles so 1 pm ish is my guess - shall we just say lunch time and mine's a pint
If anyone else wants my mobile numbers (yes I have 2 but I'm not a drug dealer I promise) let me know and I'll send them through, I'm not shy! (as I'm sure others will vouch lol)
Off to the Expo again tonight, I'll be there at about half five along with TP and SnailsPace. Come see me!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I've not been very efficient! My fetch vest has got Kerry on the front and minardi on the back - just in case I miss you and you see me disappear into the distance!
Just done a couple of gentle miles in race kit (a bit chilly to start with - haven't been wearing shorts much recently!) to get in the mood. Feet up now, except for the ironing.
W2S - green for me, too. I'll be in a Pirate top but will be staying covered up until the very last minute.
Looking forward enormously to mile 17 tomorrow (but not as much as I will be at mile 16...)!
I'm looking forward to all the sweaty hugs!!!!!! I haven't had many recently (poor me boo hoo lol) so I shall be making the most of it. Now you can't say you all haven't been warned xxx
Yep, I'm all packed too. Checked train times - all ready to go and very much looking forward to the sweaty hugs
If anyone's in pen 9 on blue, say "hello" - I'll have "Screamy" on my red London's Air Ambulance vest, and be wearing the expression of a person who's wondering why on earth she's doing this AGAIN and wishing she was at home with a bacon butty .
Screamy, I'll be in blue 9 too so will come and say hello. You should be easy to spot now you are famous following your photo shoot the other day . I'm wearing a blue vest with BECKS in bright orange on the front and a white cap to keep the sun / rain out my eyes (I'll obviously be wearing shorts / tights too!)
Glad you are okay to run Steve.
What time are people getting there? Like Gladrags I only have a 5 (well, 10) minute walk to the start but I'm still worried I am going to be late! I can't concentrate on anything today. I've just had a 40min conversation with my mum but couldn't tell you anything we were talking about!
Looking forward to the sweaty hugs especially as that means just 9 more miles to go
