Thank you once again SBH and Gilly. I can't explain how delighted I was to see you (although it may have been the Pringles I was most delighted about!). I hadn't been feeling at all well from mile 14 and knowing it was 'only' a few miles till I could stop for a hug was a big boost. I finished in just under 6 hours which I was happy with but could have done with being 10mins quicker to avoid the torrential rain and wind

Felt quite demoralised for the lot of the race especially up the highway when I saw all the speedier runners on the home stretch. That said, I'm feeling great today, feet aside.
