Number being collected on Friday, after a busy day - coffe with friends, lunch, hospital appointment and then zipping up to ExCel....I'll feel as if I've done a Marathon by the time I get there!

Loon and I will be there at that time - I have to come back to Oxted and then get the train up to London, so unlikely to be there before four at the earliest.

Completely understand ST   I am occupying the spare room at BDB Towers this year.  Two people who hate getting up in the morning .... I suspect several alarm clocks will be needed.

We start to assemble about 8 to get set up but people wander in at all times.  I can't really remember when the runners come through but that sounds about right.

Thats a shamr TT, i got some great bits of kit very cheaply from little suppliers. Were Sweatshop there with their 'returns' shoes stand?

I need loads of stuff. I'm going to buy a new shirt and shorts - I need something to wear on Sunday! And some of those gel things. I've never tried them before but I'm sure they'll be fine.

I might buy some new running shoes as well. Everything brand new for the big day

Nykie - you've inspired me - I'm going to rustle up a quick fancy dress - a full sized polar bear, or given my a shape a panda to wear on Sunday.  I might give barefoot running a try as well!  We're going feel awesome at the start - and aw something at the end as well....

Last day at work...might have to go early to panic.....helping out with local production of Me and My Girl tonight, selling tkts/progs/raffles etc then over to OH in Bath to travel up tomorrow. Tokk tapir for a beer last night. He enjoyed it very muchly and a glass of wine....naughty tapir!

I went out for my last run last night, with my running club. Only 4.5 miles (I forgot to set Garmin until we'd done about half a mile) but I think I have an injury today! My right foot is sore at the front, the bit where my foot joins my leg.

Is this tapir madness???
