How much faster are you in a 10k race compared to training at full pace?

im roughly in your boat (albeit a little slower than 40/10km) - I have my first event lined up (13.1 in Feb) - current training runs indicate an estimated 1:37 - but I’m wondering what the ‘mind over matter’ effect looks like on race day - and whether I should atttempt a ludicrous 1:30.
My 13.1 is on a pancake flat route...
