Just realised that I am looking forward (with almost indecent levels of excitement) to going home tonight, tidying the flat, folding the washing, having leftovers for tea and doing some sewing. I'm 29 - this is not right surely!
I was supposed to go to the pub last night post run but bailed for chicken fajitas and a Facebook councelling session with a friend.
I'm a lost cause I think so come on then...the boring stuff you all do that gives you so much pleasure? I CANNOT be the only one?!

Doncha know? Staying in is the new going out!
There's nothing I like more than going home on a Friday, having a glass of wine, some dinner, and dossing on the sofa.
I also enjoy a crossword puzzle, soduko, and a good book. Maybe The Mentalist.
I used to do tapestry, but there's only so many tapestry cushions you can have. I have considered taking up knitting again, though.
I wish I could knit Wilkie - I get too cross and ended up (last time) flinging my needles across the room...the cat thought it meant he could stalk the attached wool...hilarious consequences.
I have a patchwork I need to start, but with 3 samplers on the go currently I should finish at least one before I start ANYTHING else really.
I agree, staying in is the new going out.
I'm going to be so trendy that no one will recognise me.
The trouble is, to start knitting again, I'd have to go to the shops and find a pattern and some yarn.
That would interfere with the sofa-dossing
Knitting is great and Cross Stitch.
Have you see the Knitter's thread, mimaduck?
BTW I answered your question in there the other day CMouse.

The best way to learn to knit is for someone to show you. Then it's just practice. Oh, and learning the language of the knitting pattern.
The group I go to is ace, Cinders, Peope are really happy to share their skills and support each other.
Ravery is a great site too.
I switch between Radio 2 and sometime Radio 4.

I love those slippers
Anything good on the discovery channel mr f?
Cinders, yes plenty of good stuff on at the minute! The highlight this week has been an hour long documentary about how they built the Titanic's huge anchor. Designed and built in the black country the whole town was so proud of it the workers paraded it through the streets being pulled along by about 30 Shire horses.
So, are you excited yet.....?
