For what I have in mind a few more members than the original three of us would be benficial but I guess we need to have a quora.  You might have to try and persuade someone else to agree - you know how territorial some of them are.

and get away from the topic of alcohol - my most abiding memory of IM is being in the water at the start of IM Germany with Meldy and Melli - with that incredible feeling knowing that it was all suddenly horribly real!

There is a definite sense of foreboding when you are standing in the water waiting for the gun .... and hoping it misses !!

That was the same one I think we were swimming along (fighting for breath) and every time I breathed to the left there was a helicopter in my eyeline and they were playing Ride of the Valkyries over the loud speaker, that was a very very surreal moment!!!

Nothing in life can prepare you for standing on the start of an IM start line! Best ever was Roth when we were so busy chatting, we didn't realise the gun had gone!

Mon, I remember bumping into you and a handful of others at that first turn in IMDE where we were all just treading water. It was like trying to walk your way around the swim course!

Drinking the bar dry in Nice was quite an achievement, so well done to all involved.

Lol, min, never mind the gun, I missed the whole start, oops. moral of the story, check where the swim entrance is, and don't pop back for one last good luck kiss! Was a tad embarrassing, but the men whose start 15 mins later I ended up in were jolly nice.

lol, lots of memories, Yes I was there at the start but this was in 2004.

I thought I was in IM heaven, I had arranged to meet 2 Las Vegas showgirls, Candy and Monique, and then these 2 showed up

This was just a very small beginning and a passing meeting that was to explode in 2005.
