70 mins of yoga done last night. Something I neglected while Outlaw training, and my flexibility has really suffered. On the other hand, I discovered my core is much stronger so 's all good
after 4months of no real running due to injury ... this week , so far i have done a brick with a 4mile. tempo run. a 12mile long slow run. a brick with a 5 mile run with strides .. and tomorow it will be running drills.
Ironman for me on Sunday. Ironman Louisville, bib number: 2463. I'll also be using a live GPS tracker called My Athlete. You can track me at www.myathletelive.com Louisville isn't up yet but will be shortly. They also have a mobile app if you're really bored on Sunday or up late with insomnia. I guess you might also need my proper name for that one Jeff Johnson
budgie - I did the relays last year but not going this year, decided not to sign up as I had no idea whether I would be running or not, and to be honest still not running much. My club are racing tomorrow morning and weather forecast is bad, so I am not upset at being left out! Have fun if you are racing

Someone who's seen the IMUK tv programme said theres a good shot of a cheering sausagedog at the swim start.
In which case, a cheering Ironscribe (was DimTimTris) should be standing next to him!
2hrs of hills on the bike tonight, 16.4 mph, ave hr 151, 172 max
Looking forward to seeing IMUK on Sunday
This week - one hour swim, zero bike, zero run, lots of cake, some of the finest wines known to humanity, and curry.
39.55 windy flat miles followed by 30 min brick run...
12.5 hrs this week, day off tomorrow
Just registered for Ironman Kalmar.
I'm excited already
Excellent news Budgie. Then it's Chattanooga 2015, right?!
Speaking recovery aids - good try Erdinger:

They were handing that out at the end of a triathlon I did back in May.
It came up as quick as it went down... I think I'll stick with High5!
Great news Budge. Looks like most of trianglia got in, should be a great day for you all.
High 5 are great, its what i always use. They do a banana flavoured gel which is really nice (for a gel)
I had boxes and boxes of banana gels at one point so I am kind of over those at the moment but they were quite nice
I like Erdinger ... but i prefer the sruff with Alcohol
Gell-wise .. Ive been using ones based on coconut water ... much kinder to the stomich
These ..

Go on yank you can do it mate. What time is the kick off in British summer time does anyone with better maths than me know?
ok, the swim start for age groupers is 7am, and Kentyucky is 5 hours behind BST, so that is 12 midday here
which probably means that unless you are really quick I may well be tucked up in bed when you finish!
Cool that's my sunday sorted shaping up to a perfect bank holiday weekend.
All the best Yank, should be easy for you by now!
Anyone else here going to the National Club Relays at Nottingham this weekend?
Good luck Iron Yank
