In this great Olympic year local running club the Ealing Eagles are pleased to announce entry is now open for their 10k race. This popular, flat and scenic 10km event takes in 2 laps of Gunnersbury Park in Ealing, West London.
The course layout is very flat and has definite PB potential so is still suitable for all level of runners from the seasoned athletes to the first time novice. Entry is only 12.00 GBP in advance and includes a finishers medal.
The race will be fully marshalled and provides secure baggage storage, water station and even free photo downloads. Very limited parking onsite so please try to use public transport if possible. Please note the nearest tube station is Acton Town and not Gunnersbury Station.
Entry is available online and is limited so don't miss out, just copy the link:

This will be a great day out and very spectator friendly so bring the whole family.

Watching the Bupa 10k yesterday has whet my appetite for 10ks.... So I've entered this one, which is set in a beautiful park. Hopefully, I'll manage to beat my PB set in 2006. Anyone else in?
Good judgement in regards to the date. July has a tendency to be too hot for me therefore September is a much welcomed date!
Also, it's a fast course, which should be of interest to those who, like myself, are targetting a PB from this event.
Anyone know if it will sell out? I love the free photos to download part.
Sign up soon Debutant - it could well sell out. Lovely scenic park is Gunnersbury!
Great to see this inaugral race getting off to a flying start. It's filling up so if you know anyone who wants to sign up tell them not to wait too long. It's a lovely community feel race open to all running abilities.

Just signed up, looking forward to this one.
I've just signed up for this one too, nice local 10km on a flat route ... perhaps I'll achieve my summer target of a 10km PB!
This 10km race will now have chip timing. Very few £12 races will give you this. So sounds like its time sign up! Please spread the word
Just signed up for this race. I'm new to running and have never done a 10k before (I've only ever done a 5k race for life so far!) so I'm quite nervous, but looking forward to it too!
Best of Luck Cimer, no bother to you if you can do 5k now and you have another 5 weeks to get it up to 10km.
Good luck Cimer, a couple of years ago I only ran up to 4 miles prior to my first 10 k. I have built up now to do other events including half marathons. I am sure you will get the running bug.
Thanks you two, looking forward to it
