The "nostalgia" boom that has taken over TV today, reflects the whole New Labour, sound bite, socialism is unelectable bollox that destroyed adult politics in this country. Margaret Thatcher "rolled back the frontiers of socialism" Tony Blair carried through. In the hands of Blair's media the working class struggle of the 70s has become the video-track to some ridiculous pop songs.

Simon Coombes 2, I'm afraid to tell you that you were watching things as they actually were in 1976, not as reinterpreted for you by Simon Webb, Nic Hancocks, Julie Burchill or Mark kermode.
Hello Canute. If you mean Brotherhood of Man the singing group, I loved them then & still do now! I always had a crush on the lead singer with the tosh; he's older & grey now but still just as lovely!
Yes, from what I have been led to believe, the wonderful Wurzels are still going! I seem to remember one of the lads being replaced with another for some reason...can't remember the details...but I always loved their music & bright personalities, a great group they were and are!
