Just a quick post to let everyone know, and to generate a little extra interest in a race the Hungerford Hares are hosting next weekend. This is the Hares first ever race, and an interesting "Harey" 8 mile course has been set, which we had the pleasure of running this morning. With commanding views of Coombe Gibbet there is a little something to keep most people happy, as the route takes in Hungerford common, and a mix of surfaces along the way. Entries can be made via Runners World, or will be accepted on the day. A preview of the route can be found here:

Very slightly revised route sees part of the race run in the opposite direction to remove any potential congestion on the narrow trail sections.
Revised pricing for 2013, ??10.00 affiliated, ??12 un-affiliated, ??14 on the day.
The race is now part of the West Berkshire race series.
