Can anyone recommend some good gloves for running in Winter?
Believe hospitals do some good rubber gloves!
The cheap option is to get some painter's cotton gloves from your local DIY store. Cheap and effective, it doesn't matter much if you lose them. Unfortunately, they don't tend to be particularly effective if (when) they get wet.
I've used Ron Hill's Merkalon gloves for years and they work well, even when wet. I couldn't find any last year when but bought some Concurves instead: if anything, these are better than the RHs, proving to be very effective even when soaking.
Lightweight gloves are all you need in all but the worst conditions. I tend to end up tucking mine into my waistband after a few miles.
